Double Acting Compact Piston Seal - CP
The AB Seals compact slide ring seal acts as a seal and bearing element for piston with double acting hydraulic cylinders. The CP seal consists of 4 parts, an elastic internal ring of Polyurethane, a slide ring of abrasion proof P.T.F.E. bronze compound as the actual sealing ring and two bearing rings of Polyamide compound. The onset of pressure compresses the elastic internal ring axially so that the slide ring is pressed more securely against the cylinder wall and the sealing effect is increased.
